My name is Alicia Clark and I am an online ESL teacher. I’ve recently started exploring other online teaching opportunities.

A few years ago I began to really start thinking about ways to earn extra money. I am single and living off one income. It is not easy! I work full time and I have a good job but still found myself living paycheck to paycheck. It doesn’t help that some of my hobbies are expensive. I love to travel and online teaching is a perfect solution to be able to make money from anywhere.

I know how difficult it is to struggle with money. I have found a solution in online teaching. I’m not going to tell you it is super easy but I think it is easier than taking on a second job outside of the home. I thought about doing that for about 5 minutes before I decided it would not be for me. When I say it isn’t easy, I’m primarily talking about the initial learning curve and just getting started. Once you get beyond that, and get use to your schedule, it really is kind of easy!

I want to help you if it is something you are interested in doing. I will be filling up this blog with information about opportunities and how to get started. If you are single and struggling on one income or you are married with kids and struggling on two incomes, it is worth considering.

You will not be asked for money. (You will need to spend a little on a classroom background). I spent about $40. You also need a computer and headphones with a microphone. Lighting is important but I used lamps until I was sure this was all for me.
